$2750. I picked up the motor from the shipping dock and saved the $200 home delivery charge. They forked it right into the bed of my truck.

Hey guys, im just curious about this kind of set up. I do not do any like any sand duning or desert racing. But i do like how much wheel travel you can get. Do any of you guys just ride trails and crawl with LT??

yes ther are people that do lt just to crawl, the AP kit is the best for crawling because its not very wide. but they dont offer a kit for first gens.

you can get 13" of travel out of camburg or total chaos with 4wd

Yea i know 13'' is freakin sweet. Plus 4'' of lift which would get rid of my bad rake. Id be curious as to how well they ride tho. But i guess custom valving from Fox or King would be the big factor there.

links, custom 6 over arms, full 1.75 d.o.m. cage, 35 gallon cell, etc
you can also find some local fab shops around you that may offer you a custom kit a bit cheaper. or hit up craigslist. someone is selling something you need. always will be.

1st gen tundy axel would work.

and it will be way smoother, for slow crawling i suggest king, dont get icon for slow stuff

Not in Wyoming lol North west WY for sure :( I have never seen a LT vehicle around here haha I used to want to do it, then i kinda turned away from it as i am more of a trail runner crawler guy. Now..im lookin back at it as i want more lift then my Eibachs give with my plate bumper and i want more flex without going SAS.

Thanks man. Im sure i can find some tundra CVs around here. And i have read ICONs are really stiff unless you go fast with em lol

Haha well its not like i wouldn't get that a go :p lol But i think ill just have LT up front and beefy rear leaf as im goin for kinda a trail/expedition rig. I have a good idea what i want. Just need the 4 grand for more armor bigger tires and bed/roof rack locker OBA and dual batteries...and now...maybe 3k for LT :p lol

I don't "just" ride trails/crawl, but it is on my checklist. All my pinstriping is from local trails. Yes, LT can flex/crawl just fine.

First gen Tundra. I just went to my local autoparts store and told them I had a 2004 Tundra 4x4 4.7l v8 and I need the front axles. I got mine from Autozone for $60 each with lifetime warrenty on everything...including the boots. I gave them my Tacoma axles as cores

I don't think so..camburgs kits is just over 2300 and new shocks is what 1000-1200. So okay, 3.5k haha :p close enough

I love your truck Jberry. that helps a lot. I wouldn't get the rear you want as im going expedition in the rear. Think ill end up with the allpro expo packs eventually. Do like your front tho

And wait..so you traded in you tacoma axles??? cause dang 60 bucks is pretty cheap..

Limit straps, axels, spindle gussets, you should get air bumps in my opinion but not a need.
