Yah thats a good point the difference between the 2 is like night and day.Did really good on gas tho considering the mods.I think one of the best things to increase feul eco if any one interested is the vortex fuel saver.Has a throttle body spacer mass airflow sensor along with the housing. No need to change the air box as its just an adaptor thats fits inbetween the airbox and intake where the maf is.It really works.Mine came standard option from the dealership.Think there like 300 dallars.Like a turbo that increases air flow and turns the air as it moves threw the throttle body to the combustion chamber.

It saves gas?Not sure what the unit was called it was a votex or vortec something. It swirls the incoming air and better mixes the feul air in combustion chamber more efficiently.I did not purchase or install it just came as standard option on my Brand new pick up from the dealership. They install them on all there vehicles. The whole package listed on my receipt for 500 dallars. Its not a tornado lol.I tried to look it up but all I find is ebay junk and its not the same thing. When I have more time I will look further into it.But I had 2 brand new trucks. The first one had the kit and my next truck did not.It was noticeable right away the difference with out it.It was on a nissan titan 5.6 ltr to give you an ideal of my feul costs.:burnrubber:

Put it in for one tank and out for another when you are commuting to work. Measure mpg.

THe Gforce chip deffinately gave my truck more power and a better sound but im shure it was useing way more gas. I was told it would cause my truck to blow up so i took it off

1 thing I would recomend 4 better mileage is a bed cover or drop your tailgate

And you know this from experience and have used this product. If it does not work then why are they using this method on all new vehicles set up for econemy. They are using the same ideal in the new chevy cruz? The chevy vortec is one of the fastest motors ever made.It makes sence to stir the feul air around for better mixing and cumbustion properties.More air less feul gives you a bigger bang rather than less bang and more gumb build up and left over resedue.Air fuel mixture is increased if your a science guy and know any thing about internal cumbustion you would see how this burns feul more efficiently.Im not talking about some little brushless moter with a fan calling it a turbo lol.Seriously.There is no fan in this unit its all about porting and tunning.:stirthepot:

What a surprise...someone being paid to make an advertisement, agrees with the company that is paying them...

A chevy vortec is just a trademarked marketing term for a combustion chamber and piston design that has a quench zone to cause turbulence just before combustion. Used primarily to get a higher compression ratio without detonation, and it's not a $500 option added to the engine, you can't buy one truck with, one truck without.

$39.95 here if indeed that's what you had factory installed.

And it's fuel, not feul, sense, not sence.

You forgot to add that motors aren't fast...in fact the motor can't move at all without the surrounding vehicle. :p

Mine came with the option. This particular nissan usa dealership installed these on all there new vehicles.I did not pay for it.Along with the kit it was reprogramed and tuned.I am not selling anything.I half to aggree with cameron.Like I said I owned two titans.I purchased from 2 different dealerships and I went fron 22mls a gallon on freeway with the kit to 17 with out.I know what a vortec motor is.I believe they still hold the top speed record out at bonneville.I used the system so I know it works.I could care less if you use it or not.You may not need it in the tiny thing your driving any way.

I'm getting a conflicting message Turttle, which is it, Free, $300, at one point it was $500 with a receipt?

    And it's dollars, not dallars.
