What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally got around to doing the rear differential breather mod today. Ordered the parts last week and after I picked them up made a pit stop at Lowe's.


I routed it around back, zip tied in two places, then got it up over the rear fender well to come out...

In the now not-useless cubby hole!

For some reason I just really did not want to drill it into my gas compartment.

 

Funny, I just did mine too. I want to get different tubing though; All I could find that fit was clear. It'll do the job!

 

Bought an Access Roll-up tonneau and Pop 'n Lock. Next w/e install project.

 

I didn't see. What size?

 

Greased the drive shafts ... U joint fitting on the front near the T case isn't exactly "easy" to get to.

Also ordered the Wheeler's 3 leaf AAL's ... gotta start somewhere.

 

I did use a flex hose ... I thought that was a heat shield? I took it off and put it back on since it's directly above the exhaust pipe.

 

Pumped up the tires and washed the windshield. The truck felt a little squishy coming back from upstate NY at 29psi. I still got 21mpg going 70-95mph for 400miles though.

I'm now running 35psi front, 33psi rear (265/70/R16). The turning response has improved a ton.

 

Ordered, roof rack tracks, yakima control towers. This is all for my bed cargo rack project w/ lights....

 

I was dodging the rain storm and managed to put on my new bull bar. The uPS man came and brought my a present. One Procomp lift. Yeah. Now to get this damn rain outta here for a few hours..

 

Just got back from the dealership and had some warranty work done. Leather shifter boot was wearing after only 45 000 kms. They had to replace the whole console for that. I also finally got my blower motor replaced. That damn chirping was driving me crazy!

Boztec rear diff skid should be here any day now...

put some purple in the z. use the tacoma to take the oil to the closest dump station and got a set of quick fist clamps for the rails

 

Installed total chaos ucas yesterday and had to change a uniball today. Seems to run great now

 

did the cluster mod, must say it looks awsome and it only cost me 23 dollars and about 30 min of my time.

 

debadged my tailgate.. looks alot better... (had plasti-dip badges)

 

had to buy a new tail light bulb, did some mock up work for the air compressors and air valves.

Nice work, tried to do my wife's car years ago when we were dating and had no luck with them. She has a new car now btw.

 

I loaded all of my stuff up from my hotel room into it, then parked it in my storage unit and jumped on a plane for home and then england for a few weeks... <SAD PANDA>
