    yes

it was a terribly ugly game and we escaped with a win

the gatorade thing is kind of like running on the field...its part of what we do after wins...big or small...

And really...this game was bigger to Clemson as a team than it was to the rest of the country

Our past teams couldn't get it done in trap games, wouldve given up at halftime...etc etc...and let an 18 point lead end their season...not the game...the season

despite outward appearances, this game showed our fans that our team is actually trying to take a step forward from Tommy Bowden teams of old

They wouldn't have if OU had lined up and run straight ahead on 3rd down.

Well my Dawgs squeaked one out of their ass no thanks to some shotty special teams play. Just when I thought we were building some momentum and getting better. But maybe I'm underestimating Vandy?

Ok...WTBLUE-F was that Georgia? VANDERBILT. However...with the younger Rodgers as their QB...they might have potential. He looked a lot like his brother tonight. They should have beat us after that blocked punt. It was a catchable ball in the endzone. Luckily, we squeaked by. We REALLLLLLY needed Miss St to beat the Cockgobblers. Hate to see Lattimore get hurt, but that might help us out a lot if he's gone for a couple weeks. Now, we've got 2 weeks as always to get ready for the Gaytors. Hopefully we can look better than we did tonight. Murray missed another couple WIDE open receivers. Looks like it's becoming a habit. More evidence of no killer instinct from the coaching staff with us up 33-28 with 1:30 left and we run 3 run plays and attempt to punt. Get a first down and don't worry about that crap. Oh well...a win's a win. We need help to win the East...maybe we can get it.

Side note: Anyone else watchin the UGA game see the "poll" they had about "Who is doing the best coaching job in the East"? Around 80% said Mark Richt. Really? I know there aren't a lot of good choices...but 80%? I woulda gone with Spurrier.

Vandy's good... They got close enough to attempt (but miss) two FGs against our D. Better than I thought they'd do.

What's this I hear about the UGA coaches taunting Vandy coaches/players after the game? I've heard it almost caused fighting. I haven't seen anything.

They gators suck donkey balls. You should beat them handily.

    Dear Denard,
Practice running some WR routes please. Thats your new position. You CANNOT throw the ball, and will never be able to until learn to be a QB.

I am soooooo fed up with his in ability to throw a freaking pass. Just run him till he breaks, then put Devin Gardner in there. Michigan is now "lil brother" to MSU. 4 years in a row. ugh.... Lets just hope they dont come undone like they did the past 2 seasons.

    sorry, had to rant.

they do suck...but have you seen us? I haven't seen a lot to give me a ton of hope. Plus, it's Florida, and it's ALWAYS a tough game for us.

I don't know what started the craziness at the end of the game. Rambo was hurt on the field and all of a sudden the camera switched to the middle of the field and both benches were emptied and Grantham was PISSED and yellin at Vandy's side and got shoved by someone. I'm hopin ESPN will show what happened or show some post game conference or somethin. It was wild. The refs were already off the field so it was up to the coaches to get everyone separated, but some of the coaches were in on the screaming. I think it was Vandy's head guy that Grantham was yellin at.

I can't believe they didn't call taunting on that pick 6 when the guy OBVIOUSLY held the ball out to taunt Denard. I mean, they called it on the poor PUNTER last week who will never see the endzone again, and it wasn't near as bad as the one today.

true, i thought that they would have called that, but it honestly wouldnt have made a difference. The fourth and 1 play action BS offense call was the one that killed us today. I can believe that they wouldnt have been able to push the ball 1 yard to get the first.

Michigan is waaaaaaayyyyyy (or was) over rated. I said that weeks ago.

Enough of my Big Ten talk, Ill let you guys get back to the SEC stuff, lol

I heard today that if Mich loses to Ohio State, the seniors on the team will be 0-8 vs. Mich State and OSU during their careers.

I haven't seen it, so I have no idea. I've just heard that there was taunting by UGA coaches immediately after the incomplete pass in the end zone.

The thread is dominated by SEC, but I don't think it has to be that way. I wish we had some other posters in here from other conferences that had more to say.

Speaking of coaches taunting.... Check out Trooper Taylor (orange jacket, behind Chizick) giving the gator chomp after the barn beat a terrible and undermanned Florida team. Keep it classy, coach.

0-8 against those two teams would be horrible for those guys and those programs, but 1-7 isnt that great either huh? I just hope they dont start the slide. I always hate when the media jumps on the michigan bandwagon so early when they havent played anyone worth a squat. Just very disappointed today with everything they did.

SEC is where the football excitement is at. the best players, coaches and teams. I hope my comment wasnt taken in a bad way. Wasnt intended to be so. I was raised in the midwest so I love Big Ten football. Ill bore you guys all day long with talk about it if you want, lol.

Anyways, really enjoying the oregon/asu game. Anyone else watching that one?

I didn't take it in a bad way at all... This thread is dominated by SEC talk a lot, and I think it keeps some people who are fans of other teams/conferences from posting much. Some of us SEC guys also get a little "our football is better than yours" attitudes, too, which doesn't help.

I love SEC football, and I'm a homer for the SEC, but I would enjoy more people from other conferences.

I haven't been watching Oregon/ASU... Been watching OU and KU (b/c I'm a KU fan on the side). I should probably switch.

I love it. I'd like to see some of our coaches really get into somethin like this. Like I said, I don't know what happened to start the riot, but if we were taunting, I'm OK with it....even if it was just Vandy. Our coaches (mainly Richt) need to show some passion. I'm tired of him bein the good guy. That goes back to not havin the killer instinct...
