My first Toyota pickup was a 1980 4X4 my dad bought me in high school. It was old back then. I bought my 05 access cab 6spd new and its been a great vehicle. This is my 4th Toyota truck and always regretted selling each one months after so plan on keeping the 05 for a long time.

Oh BTW congrats on the new Tacoma!

So I am considering a 2012 Acces Cab TRD Sport also grey ;) But want it with every feature I want but none of the ones I don't so just wondering what the order process was like and what kinda time tables for delivery your dealer gave you, also going to install the supercharger but that's at dealer so that will take as long as it takes

    congrats

My truck was ordered by the dealer it has no vin yet only a temporary so I was able delete all the dealer fluff ie bed step exhaust tip etc. the only issue I have is I want a short bed according to Toyota build I have to take the fake Crome wheels, I wanted the alloys 17 inch. I did not believe I could not get the alloys on the short bed they showed me the build schedule makes no sense to me. The truck is scheduled to be built the end of oct delivered end of nov, my truck is loaded as of right now waiting to see if I can get the drl they said its not showing on their build sheets even though it shows on toyota's web site. Keep in mind mine is a double cab for delivery time they are made in mexico I know all this is legit because I am dealing with family. I test drove a black short bed and I was very impressed even though I was disappointed that Toyota did not update the motor rear brakes etc.
