Hi , just installed the 63 series K&N intake in my 2011 .....There is 100 percent a better throttle response and makes the truck run alot smoother over the whole power band...The truck feels pepier but as far as horsepower i don't know, never did the before/after dyno. If i had to guess i would say there is HP gain but minimial (5-10). Gas mileage to early to say but if you drive it like granny you probablay will pick up a 1-2 increase(could care less about this)......Now for looks and sound,,PURE awesome!!!!....

For 240 bucks paid, I would highly recomend!!!
For others who say the stock intake is better, well I feel there in denial or just straight up haten, because there is no way if you drove mine stock versus the new intake now you would like it better before, just NO way at all!! :)

The sound lol, now that's funny,,,your talking to someone who just sold his 2010 Shelby with 630rwhp, think I know a gain when I see one. The horsepower gained is minimal but oh it is def there...not to mention the undeniable increase to the throttle response..the sound is great also but your Not talking to a rookie here. Keep living in denial...

    This ^^^^

A "veteran" would aslo know that sound changes an give the illusion of a power gain. Also that a change in the power band can also "feel" like a gain was achived, yet the net was a loss.

my truck came with a k&n filter and i trashed it if you get an intake or just keep it stock make sure you get a dry flow filter that oil is nasty and will gum up your MAFS and thats where your power loss will happen so keep your sensor clean and dry flow all the way

Not sure I would be name calling. Maybe you should read the Code of Conduct. As for the "scholar comment, Im sure I have spent more time trying different shit out on vehicles than you have.....

I partied with some punks from Clinton NY last night, they weren't too bright either. Jesse Brookstein, you know him?

    What am I thinking, I'm talking to a banned guy aren't I?

What many don't think about is that the truck was tuned to run based on factory MAF settings. Which is not just based on the MAF sensor but on the volume of the intake tube near the sensor. Shape of the tube and where the MAf is placed will effect readings also. So it is completely possible the intake could make no power other than it is tricking the engine into running leaner.
