    When i was redoing my stereo install, i noticed a little sticker stuck to that thick metal bar behind the stereo.. kinda looked like a cheap-o price tag you'd see on a soda bottle lid at 7/11.. Anyway, it had a date on it of 06/28/2005. So.. would that be my truck's b-day?? Has anyone else found that same sticker?

    Was just there pluggin in the metra ipod/mp3 adapter. Noticed the bar but no sticker on it. The plate in your door sill with prod date is your truck's b-day tho. The one on the bar may just be when that part was manufactured but not necessarily when the truck was built.
