What kind of set up do you have for a welder? I've got multiple mig welders and one tig welder at my place of work but no key to get in (fail.)

Manistee has some amazing trails to go through, for stockish and modified rigs alike. This cool wet time of year would be a good time to make a run too. Pick a weekend and lets tear it up!

I've got a miller 130 mig. It does pretty good, I welded in the shock buckets on the bronco with it no problem. I'd def be down for a road trip up north. This south side of the state I havent found much to wheel on. Next free weekend I have I'll throw up a post!

DI is awesome. We were going to head up there for a couple nights this past weekend but I was too afraid that the little one (15 mo) would get too cold at night.

Turtle Ridge ORP is the only real place you might end up doing a lot of damage at on the island. There are a couple trails that might get a little hairy too but for the most part, it is very scenic too. There are the FOssil Ledges, Shale Beach, Marblehead, etc.

There is also the Stairsteps by Marblehead but careful driving will get you up and down them with a stocker Taco. Or just take the short hike out to Marblehead from there (only a couple 100 yards).

I think you have a much better chance of doing damage at an ORP than just driving around on the island.

I highly recommend Rocks & Valleys in Harrison if you are going to do an ORP. ROn is a great host there. Plus they have overnight camping there ($10 charge?).

I rode a lot fo the trails on the bike and from what i saw there was a lot of holes (rutted deep ones) and many large rocks that seemed about cab height to do some damage. I'd def take the truck up there but would be ok with backing out due to the possibility of putting an extra (unwanted) window in the bottom of my truck.

I did like shale beach, we rode all the way to the end on the bikes, way fun, and the steps at marblw head were fun going up and down. Had a blast watching my buddy on a raptor try and make it back up.
