    FELLOW TACO LOVERS!!!
Looking for a little guidance. My a/c has stopped working. Recirculation button still lights up but not the a/c. The fan is not working in any speed. I have checked the fuses both IG1 AND IG2 10A fuses as well as the 10A fuse in the engine compartment. All are still good. I read something about the HVAC resistor going bad, but what i have read is that it works for some in some speeds. I have NO speeds. Does any one know the value of the resistor to check it, so I can rule that out before I spend the $ on it? ANy help would be much appreciated.

    Too many mods to list
Below the glove box is the blower. Give it a tap and see if the A/C comes on. I had to change mine about 2 years ago, but didn't. It might not start once or twice in a month until I give it a light tap. It has worked for me, might work for you.

Note: I have kept this unit that has a problem because apart from that it emits no sounds like many here have experienced. I figure I would rather take a rubber mallet to it once or twice a month than be annoyed with a weird sound.

does it matter if the light doesn't come on the a/c button? is that an indication that the fan is going bad?
