    Don't drop it ;)

I never use cases with my iPhones, I prefer them au naturale. Maybe I'm lucky but through three different iPhones since they first came out I've only ever had minor scuffs or light scratches at worst that you don't notice unless you're looking for them.

The guy that sold me on them was one of the dudes I work with. He's a hardcore tri-athalete and took his phone dropped it in the sink and turned the water on while telling us about swimming workouts with it.

That makes me cringe...I've tried carrying my iPhone4 naked but the phone is some damn smooth and tends to fall anywhere I place it unless it's in my pocket. My brother in law is just like you though, has never had a case on it and never intends to get to one.

I like the hard shell slider type cases. I currently have the Incase Slider. It's not very bulky, has a nice hard rubber feel to it so it sticks to surfaces pretty well. I have dropped the phone a few times on concrete and nothing happened to the phone.

I have also had the Incipio slider case below but like the texture of the Incase Slider a little better.

Apple will surely remove this app from your phone once they catch on. Also the carriers will charge you tethering fees once they notice you are tethering (it's not hard for them to tell). They have already done it to people who tethered via jailbraking methods. Use at your own risk.

I would never trust an app called "payupsucker". Let us know how it works, though!

I hear ya man. I was just saying the name alone makes me hesitant.

After a weekend on iOS 5, I can say that it's pretty awesome. My 4 is actually running even faster than it was before. I have pretty much everything in iCloud turned off, though. Just makes me nervous knowing my data is randomly being sent to a server somewhere and then streamed back down. Even with it being Apple, I'm still hesitant.

All of my stuff is stored on the Exchange server at work that I manage, so I'd rather just leave it there and manually back it up as needed.

The Notification Center, wireless sync and camera button on the Lock Screen are my favorite things so far.

If you are not using icloud (I am not either) what is with the wireless synch. I am running similar to you as my work computer holds my itunes and songs. I am happy synching to that going forward as it works well for me. Tell me about this wireless synch though...

You can enable you iTunes to sync your iPhone/iPod over the WiFi (mine is at my house) network you use. My 4s and my touch are both connected and controllable from my mini right now....Neither is plugged in.

    No problems here.

Have you done a full Restore on the phone? Not the Restore that it did when you first updated it - that just wiped it and reloaded all your stuff.

I manually wiped all my data before updating to iOS 5, then updated it, it did the "Restore" and then I did another full Restore after that, where I set it up as a new phone. It's been running even faster than before after I did that.
