I love my 2011 DCSB. Have done a few mods. I switched from a 2006 Audi A4 and have no regrets. It's not as luxury or "tight" but its so much fun!!!:D

I make-a da sweet sweet love to my Tacoma every time I drive the sucker. Really happy with the simplicity of the rig. Easiest (of the new) truck to work on I have had with just the right amount of amenities.

Just rolled over 120,000 on my 09. Still does it all. Gets decent gas mileage. 18-20 depends if I can keep my foot out of it.
Pulls my travel trailer, out to Colorado from Missouri.
Then, once I'm in Co, it's a great four wheeler. Went from Crested Butte over to Aspen on Pearl Pass, pretty rough. Still pretty much stock.

Overall I love my '06 DCLB. As with anything in life, nothing is perfect. I wish that it got better MPG's, but I didn't buy it for that. I also wish that it had a better payload capacity, but I didn't buy it for that either. I'm planning on keeping it for another 10 years unless I really like the 3rd generation whenever that comes out. To save gas and for a change of pace I bought a 2000 MR2 about 8 months ago. I like both cars.

Coming from a car I was averaging about 42 mpg with to this, it was a fairly strong shock.

I pick another option - stuff that drove me nuts but I figured ways to live with or fix them. You know like axle wrap, the hvac blower motor, the seatbelt chime, the plugnplay oem cruise control, the dent in the front end I fixed with careful force of a 2x4... shoot the week after I bought the thing I went back to the dealer with a big ol laundry list and they replaced something like 8 parts under warranty. Kudos to the guy who did my clutch pedal - I never thought it would be smooth more than a few hours.

Now if I didn't have to spray WD40 on the body mount every 3 weeks I would be a lot happier.

Just got home after my first road trip in my 2011 double cab long bed Tacoma. Averaged 22 mpg over 1,695 miles. I could not be happier with this truck!
