Looks good man. I've seen those black hole tiles in my friend's shop. How do you like them from a performance and also an install perspective?

What are you using for processing that's doing 3way active? Does the Excelon do that? (I've been out of the headunit game for a whiiiiile)

    Whats up Steven!

At first I wanted to dis like the Tiles but they are awesome. Best dampening material I have worked with. Easy to apply and quick. If you have the room then I reccomentd these all day long. I will try to make a vid of the diffence between the door with tile and without.

The Kenwoon doesnt do three way active but it does have T/A. The Audiosystem 70.6 amp (Same family as Mosconi) does do full active. Small foot print and four freakin fans! great little 6ch amp.

    Lovely.

Looking good man. I haven't seen Rainbow's in a loooong time. They made a big splash when Don started bringing their products here to the USA. Had dinner with him two years ago at CES; smart chap. I really haven't followed their newer lines too much just because I haven't been looking for myself lately :D

Don is a great guy. My shop picked up Rainbow not too long ago and it is our number one seller. Don had to do some digging just to ge me the CAL 27s. People just love the SLC Components out here I do too at that price point. I just decided to step it up a bit with the CAL 27 since the CAL 25 is too harsh for me on axis.

    $160

I've used the q-logic panels before, didn't like them... plastic, thin, and the ones I used were quite resonate. I much prefer building my own (I so wish I had a pic of the ones I made in my old car)

Thank you! I paid 140 on th make a offer deal on E-gay
These are not as thin as alot of them are. they are twice as thick as the one my friend has for his civic. To combat the resonate sound that these are known for I do have a 1/2 MDF speaker ring behind the pannel, the entire back of the kick panel is covered with Raamat and around the speaker is stuffed with Blackholes version of polyfill called "Stuff". Doing all that has made my front stage really come alive. I work alot so i really dont have the time to fiberglass kicks. I know it doesnt take much but these sound pretty good for q-logic. Stage height is right about eye level and width is beyond the pillers. Depth is pretty good being as that position is about the deepest you can mount the spreakers On-Axis. I'm very happy with this set-up. I just need more time to get the time alignment right. A couple more rush hour traffic delay and i should be good haha.

King of the Mall parking lot!
