Tacoma Seat Covers, Tacoma Kick Guards, Nerf Bars, Front window tint. To come: Bull Bar
    Mine is rediculously simple....
Offer Speedway Blue on a package outside of the TRD.
When I bought my 07 I was in love with the speedway blue, but didn't want nor need many of the features of the TRD. So I settled for Impulse Red which I still like a lot. But Speedway blue sure does match nicely when you're at a Carolina Panthers Tailgate... Even if they do suck.

    Inside/Outside extras:
    -A sunroof would be nice
-I don't care about the sliding read window being electric, I just wish the damn thing wouldn't rattle.
-A cargo light would be nice
-Door seal guards should be standard
-Matching seat covers for the back... Toyota makes them for the front, but damn if they want to do anything about the back...

The option to make the aux port have fulltime power or have at least 1 that has full time power. I found the mod for it I just haven't had time to do it.

I just thought of another thing that would be nice! ! That would be a "Functional Tilt & Telescope Steering Wheel"

I was out today and the thing that Toyota is selling these days is almost totally useless. Perhaps that is a little harsh, but you will have to agree it is very limited without electric seats;)

I wish.....I wish..... I wish the keyless entry (lock) would work when the truck is running. ;)

In the winter - I'll start the truck up 5-10 minutes early to let it warm up, warm up the interior, & defrost the windows. In my previous truck (Dodge Ram) - I could lock the truck (with the keyless entry) while it was running from inside the house.

You can't do that with the tacoma... The only way you can lock it while it's running, is to stick a spare key in the door and lock it manually.

Guess I need a remote-start for Christmas eh?

    Hmmm let's see:

Stopping better & possibly saving a life OR...getting brake dust on the rear rim?....Hmmm, decisions, decisions...

I don't know man, I sure hate cleaning those nooks and crannies in the rims. ;)

I want one switch to turn on ALL Interier lights at once. The Tacoma is not as big a problem, but the Tundra and my wifes sienna would have benifitted from this.

    Interier light switch
    Heated Mirrors
    Bed Light
larger lockable compartment in bed. large enough for jumper cables and the trailer hitch.

    1) AUX input (totally insane that it's not included)
    2) mp3 disc capability (trade my 6 CD for 1 w/ CD-RW, MP3, etc.)
    3) rear disc brakes (that I'll need because I'm fiddling w/ the stereo)

    1. hood struts... It's 2007 fer christ's sake and they were standard on cars 10-20 years ago (added myself)
    2. MP3 capable stereo....low-end scions have it, Rav4's have it...
    3. bed cargo lights (had to add myself)
    4. stronger tailgate (again, fixed myself)
    5. heated mirrors....WTF? These mirrors are huge compared to my car, massive blind spots, and mirrors are useless on winter mornings (planning on fixing this) (oh, and these are standard on the ridgeline....)

Some things just baffle me.... 4runner has an illuminated 4wd switch.... Same switch is in the tacoma, but it's NOT illuminated... WHY?!?! Did they honestly take the time/money to design a new switch instead using the same for both? Only switch up front NOT illuminated. Not worth fixing, IMO, just confusing.

Other than that it would be nice to have some of the other options available on damn near every other toyota: DVD, Navi, sunroof, etc. Not worth complaining over for me, but when toyota already offers all these to most of their line then why not if you're willing to pay?

    my bed lights:

You made some good points, epsecially about the stereo. Like you said, it comes standard or as an option in every other toyota vehicle, why did they downgrade so much on the Taco stereo? Why not just use a head unit from one of their other vehicles? whatever.

I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!
I think a positive traction or limited slip rear end should be avaliable on any
    4x4.
