You way down there, love that area. Go that way when I have to go to Atlanta. Unrelated, you got the first gen. I like so much! I kick my ass every time I see one for trading mine in. I like the 2nd gen, but if I had a choice between a new 2nd and new 1st, I grab the 1st gen in a heartbeat. I like the size of them better and think they are proportioned better than the 2nd gens. Plus I loved that 6cyl in the 1st gen. Hang on to it as long as you can.

    Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome... I will be on the lookout for your TW sticker. Speaking of, where does one get one of those stickers?

Thanks...nice area up there. You go to Tahoe a lot? I use to come up there a lot some 30 years ago, haven't been since, but always like that area. In a way, Reno kinda of reminds me a little of Asheville; close in mountains, etc, Beautiful area!

Thank you. Been a lot of places in the US, (former airline), but never been to Maine. Want to see it before I too damn old. Plus I love snow and cold weather. I hate heat and humidity. How far north in Maine are you?
Wood stove country! Tacomas are just right for hauling the wood too. Only thing I know about Maine is that Caribou ME usually has some of the lowest temps in the lower 48. I think Caribou is way the hell up there though. Looks kinda of desolate from the pics I see? Also looks like you drive south from Canada to get there!:rolleyes::rolleyes::eek:

Thanks NICE truck and wheels! Is it black? Looks almost like it could be Timberland green too? hard to tell from the pic?

You can have aftermarket remote keyless added for not too much money. My parents are in Weaverville, and I lived in Asheville for a few years. I worked at Fontana for a couple years. I know you probably don't need the alarm, but I had a viper alarm and remote keyless added to my truck for about $350 here in Baltimore. The keyless entry and bluetooth for my phone was really all I missed.

I have read up a little on the alarm, keyless entry system. I travel out of town a lot so I am toying with the idea. Only thing I hate is I absolutely will not let anyone at Best Buy touch my truck and from what I have seen it looks the only place to get it installed? Yes No? It's all I can take just to let the dealer change the oil and then I watch them like a hawk the entire time I am there. I am sure they have "he's watching you" written in their comments on their computer screen somewhere.:D:D:D
The only respect what you inspect! I go over my engine with a fine tooth comb when they bring it out of the bay. I have had them bring it back several times and clean off the oil they have spilled.
I am sure they think I am a royal PIA, but screw 'em. They did not write the check for my truck.
Whew....Guess I made my point....don't like anyone touching my truck! So Best Buy installing an alarm is not gonna happen in my universe.

So, where else could I get one installed besides Best Buy? Any suggestions for this area?
Oh FUC* Think I just broke some rules. Not suppose to ask questions here. (bad enter key, bad enter key).

Thanks for the welcome. Tacomas Mountains to Sea literally! Remind me some day to tell you a hilarious (airline) story about Fayettville & Grenville, some day. Lets juts say after going to Fayetville, AK, Greenville SC for years and then changing jobs to another airline I would constantly mix up my states during annoucemnts to those 2 cities. Then all those damn Tri-Cities! You get the picture.:rofl::rofl:
Fuc*....is the damn state really that important and who names all these damn cities with the same fuc*ing names!:goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

Thanks! You got to see the best of the leaves cause they went early this year. Just about gone now, 4000ft and above, at least where I am at.
I bet you get 120 mpg going down Old Fort Mtn.:D (5 mpg going up though:mad:)

My 04 was radiant red and the first 011 was Barcelona red. Would have gotten this one in red too, but you when you see the truck you want, the color all of the sudden is not that important and you end taking what they have. I like the silver though, more than I thought I would. I still love the red though and it will always be my first choice if it's available. I have to stay away from the dealers web site cause I know I am going to see a 2012 I want in RED! :)

(I also have this fuc*ed up theory in my head, that people do not see a silver or gray vehicle on rainy overcast days:rain: like they do a red vehicle, but given the size of Tacoma, it should be hard to miss. I would never buy a small silver car for that very reason unless it had flashing runnnig lights:laugh:, again, just my fuck*ed up theory).

I am with ya on the NO BEST BUY rule. I am in Baltimore now, so the guy I use would be a little inconvenient for you. Ask around though. I know it may be hard to do, but find a ricer with loud system and ask them where they get stuff installed. I know asheville had a couple of good places, but that was 12 years ago!
