    If it's not too late I'm gonna try to get on this asap...time to empty the change jar haha

    Question though: what's the difference between the H1 and D2S morimoto kits? All I can tell is that they use different bulbs, I'm a noob at this stuff. I'll be putting it in a 2003 taco, if that matters.

    Custom extended travel 2.5" King RR coilovers, 1.25" Camburg uniball uppers, homebuilt tube bumper
    The output is a little different between the two because of the lengths of the bulb. The d2s has a larger stem so its good for large factory bulb opening like the h4/9003 that the 2nd gen tacoma uses and the h1 is a small stem that fits the 9006 that my 4runner has. The nice thing about the d2s is that it is an oem bulb so there are more options and they are easier to find. A lot of people say the mini h1 has a more intense output with better foreground

    Damn... Thats ok though, I'm planning on dropping the money to do it at some point, now there's no rush. I want it to be my winter project. My stock fog housings are letting in some water so they need to be taken apart anyways, might as well retrofit them in the process :)

    Yup! I grew tired of the HIDs in the halogen reflector housings quick! I was trying to get member "deekoi" to get in on this since he was planning to do a retro himself. Don't know if he did or not.
