Looks like the 2012 Tacoma TRD Sport models have turn signals on the mirrors now as well. Don't know about the heated mirror part.

Looks great! Might have to try this one weekend!

The OP pics look great but I only has SR5 manual mirrors so this mod while looking kickass would only benefit me by having a blinker on the mirror. Without electric mirrors and keyless entry, the rest would mostly be waste. Props on the mod tho, badass mod for those who already have electric mirrors and keyless entry.

4runners don't have a switch, the mirrors turn on with the defroster.

I think that's from an older Highlander, #84871-48030, but it won't fit in the center switch area.

I got the 4runner mirros installed this weekend and that highlander switch definitely does not fit where the lighters/power outlets are on my 2010...the switch is too deep and the AC is in the way. I have a TRD and there are no more slots available. Does anyone know if there is a factory driving lights switch that will fit by the power outlets? I will relocate the driving lights wiring to the middle and put the highlander switch to the left of the steering wheel where it will be a direct fit.

Also the mirrors I purchased using the part numbers in this thread do not include the plastic outer shell covers. I purchased gloss black ones - about $35 each. If anyone wants the part numbers I can post later. Everything works perfectly except for the switch looking a little rough sticking out like it is (about quarter inch).

I have been told that the following light switch will fit in the switch bank below the AC controls http://tundrapart.com/lights/auxiliary-dash-panel-switch-with-led/ If any one can confirm I would be grateful. I want to move the defrost switch to where the stock driving light switch is and wire a new stock looking switch under the AC controls. Any one have any suggestions?

Nope, my 08 RC prerunner had the chrome grill/rr bumper/rims, color matched fr bumper/flares, int wipers & TPMS. Other than that it came pretty bare, much the same as my 05 AC base prerunner was.

When you say driving lights, do you mean the fog light switch? I was planning on doing this swap as well, just because it seemed more logical to have the mirror switch on the left, but now it seems to be necessary. I was planning on the Tundra switch you linked to, but I don't know if it fits. Keep us posted!

Also depends on the depth - I've read the A/C is right behind that panel so there's not much room.

You have a little room behind there but the Highlander switch is 2-3 inches deep. It looks like the Tundra switch is about half that deep.
