F/S mini d2s complete retro assembled by blackflamecustoms.c

hey all i'm looking to sell my retrofit i picked up in june they are literally like 3 months old lol. the package includes TYC housings, morimoto mini D2S projectors, morimoto amp style 5000k bulbs, morimoto 35 watt ballast and a can buss harness from the retrofitsource, gatling shrouds with ccfl rings behind the shroud to light up the vents it's a great looking and performing projector set.

i know they are sealed they where also just looked over by bjorn of custom lightz to ensure a proper functioning set-up and weather resistance.

the only thing not included are the inverters for the ccfl rings but they can be had from the retrofit source for around 15$. everything you need to have a custom set of retrofitted lights on your truck

this is a plug and play professional retrofit complete ready to bolt on a go. and a bonus brand new set of 4 putco led resistors ceramic, and 4 white leds 2 for the tag and 2 for your reverse lights they are bright! i just redid my whole truck in leds and used these for mine.


so for 550 you can have a proffesional retrofit and leds everywhere lol boom thats sexy.

not bad bjorn just looked them over made sure they where straight and sealed the outer edge with silicon so they are sealed up nice and tight and ready to go. the whole set up is only a few months old i think this is a pretty good price i wish someone was selling something like this when i was doing my first retro.

and just to clarify they never had water issues i just had him look them over for me and straighten things.

cool truck thayer i like it it's like the big white version of mine these would look slick on there storm trooper style.

 

to sweeten not that i have to but, i will throw in 4 ceramic resistors from putco to run led turnsignals for you 12 pin dtrl guy's and 4 white leds 2 for your reverse lights and 2 for your tag lights

i wanted more light so i went to custom lightz and had the god of hid bjorn make me a set of fx-rs that run 55 watt ballast and are tweaked to perfection but, your talking about a 1,300 dollar retro.

i had ls 460's i believe i was the first to get them on a tacoma last november and they are the best bi-xenon projector money can buy these are about 3/4 of those out put wise.

i wanted to set street signs on fire when i drove by them like ghost rider lol so hence the new set-up.

 

he has a freakin a SUN in each headlight housing!!!!!!!

 

I understand the necessity, such necessaryness' indeed. I'm retrofitting fxr's myself with 35w ballasts. Does bjorn god man say its cool to push bulbs with a 55w ballast and still have them last > than 1 year?

I've heard the LS460 is the greatest. There is a guy on here somewhere running them.
Yikes, i'm not interested in $One thousand three hundred dollar head lamps, but if you want to give them to me, that's totally cool I'll understand.

the mini set-up do the math the parts came from trs 3 months ago so current pricing should apply. the labor on a professional retrofit for minis runs around 400 dollars thats standard plus the housings 500 is more than fare for the entire set up.

as far as the 55 watt set-up check into morimoto 55watt bulbs they don't color change and burn out expect 2 plus solid years of service from a quality set up.

if you go and run aftermarket bulbs designed for 35 watt applications with a cheap aftermarket ballast or any ballast thats 55 watt for that matter they will color shift and it will drastically lessen the life span of the bulb.

55 watt correctly requires imo a true HD relay harness and quality ballast and bulbs beefed to handle the extra power not only for performance but for reliability. hope this answers your questions.

bjorn is the man when it comes to retrofitting period the only crew that matches or exceeds his skill and experience is clearcorners.com they are fucking pricey! 3 to 4 thousand for tail lights and headlights a set!!! customlightz has been up and running since 2004 thats going back when 99.9 percent of people ran plug and play as that was the only real option himself and matt from trs basically started the whole show.

 

your looking good there my friend lightwerks is the only place bjorn said besides himself that is ooperating on that level ceasr is good as well very good at what he does.

i feel like unless guy's take the plunge and try this they will never understand lol. the comparison pics in the custom lightz thread shows the difference between the two even a very good quality oem halogen set-up looks like a match compared to a bon fire.

to drive a truck with these kind of lights is awesome i have about a grand in other off road lights on my truck as well and to be honest i could not imagine a situation where i would need any more light running the retrofit i currently have . even the vision-x leds get blotted out now it's crazy bright

 

the way he did your housings looks clean i bet if you sealed them up meaning you actually siliconed the vent holes and such and siliconed the turn signal bulbs that felt wiggly you could go swimming with those lol. lightwerks did a fantastic job on those man lol dude if you ran the 55 watt gen 2 ballast you would destroy paint would bubble up on street signs an shit lol

 

yea i am freakin amazed at the his and his crew's work!good thing i supplied him very high temp paint for the shields (used for the terminator look!)

 

haha ceramic engin paint is what i would have chose that stuff is awesome thats what bjorn did my lights with. it goes on really nice and takes all kinds of heat before getting funky.

 

i think its the same? i has pictures of exhaust/headers and crap on the bottle.. lol

 

duplicolor? if so then yep its really good paint!
