as far as sitting flush these wheels will not. the inside bevel on the rim is what causing the movement from side to side on the center cap. i could take them to go and get machined, but that will cut into the powder coating. will post them for sale

They should work just fine, the reason for the movement is that you will need a "mag-style" lugnut. You have acorn style lugnuts if you have stock steelies...

Well I finally got the wheels on. New lug nuts. Been back to two different shops to have them balanced.first with weights on the rim and then weights taken off with dyno beads inside. Had them test to make sure wheels and tires were good and straight. Still at 70mph the mother f_er stills shakes! Iguess its back to steel wheels.

They probably balanced them with the wrong adapter. Check that out. Toyota wheels use a special adapter.

Not sure what the dealership did different. But after several attempts from my local (NTB) National Tire and BATTERY I took it to the dealership thinking I had some kind of front end issue ,come to find out it was just the tires out of balance.

The dealer will have a special adapter that many tire shops do not have. If it ain't balanced with that, it will not balance properly.

Hmmm, is this the fabled Haweka adapter you speak of? They also say you need that for the TRD aluminum wheels (like in my sig pic), but I found a shop that balanced them fine without the adapter, without roadforcing, and without beads. It comes down to having a tech who knows WTF they are doing. Of course, I'll be taking the 5-stars there, too. FOr anyone in or near Sac: Radial Tire Service, Cottage Way. They rock.
