... which is why I have a 4WD Taco in the garage!

Miss the 45 mpg I got on the Honda but 4.5" of ground clearance + 2450# 2WD vehicle with 66/34 weight distro + massive lake effect snowstorms = white knuckles like you wouldn't believe.

I hope to learn much and maybe contribute a little if I can. Already temporarily rid myself of the blower fan headache. Who knows what else will pop up :p

Followed the DIY on this site, kinda. As in, I disassembled and cleaned the motor, lubricated the bushings with 30w, and reassembled. From what I read it'll likely be quiet until next summer when I get to do it again. I found the DIY only after I put it back in the truck, thought I was all smart

Thx for the warm welcome all.

Snow isn't that far off unfortunately. We already had a couple hard frosts, and considering how the big lake is at record temperatures (mid-lake buoy recorded 80F+ a few times in August), this winter is not going to be fun. I suppose it shouldn't be as bad as that time in the UP when we got 34 consecutive days with 4 inches or more per day and came up one day short of the record (Lemme tell you that is a LONG time to go without seeing the sun!!!). I drove a Civic through that on all-seasons
