Power Flow Pro-Fit mud flaps

Looking at removing my factory mud flaps and the only thing I've been able to locate along theb sale lines but possibly shorter are the Power Flow Pro-Fit series mud flaps. Just wondering is anyone has tried these out and in fact are they shorter than the stock? Pics would be nice.

 

Husky just came out with a exact fit mudflap for the tacoma which are shorter but a better plastic then the junko toyota made.

I just removed my stockers, but the Profit's are shorter and do look good from the pics I've seen. They do require drilling. If you search around a bit you should find a thread or two with pics. Someone has already mentioned the new Husky's too.

 

I just installed the Pro Fit flaps on my truck. I didn't do any drilling into the truck itself. All I did was use the old flaps as a template to make holes in the Pro Fit mats and attached them to the truck with some plastic push clips from lowes. Had all 4 installed in under an hour. Cost was about $45 dollars for everything.


Added a few pics of them on the truck and the clips used to install them. Had them on for about 3000 miles now and no issues. They were about 3" shorter than the stock ones. Bought them off Amazon.com. Hope this helps.

 

And the pro fits are flexible (Note: not my pic...borrowed from another forum where I
asked the question about their flexibility):

 

I did the Pro-Fits and they look OK but they're a pain to line up and drill and if you're picky like me, they don't fit square to the tires.
You'll definitely get better results with the HuskyLiner product.
I'm considering lining up a group buy.

 

Now I just need to finds some pics of the Husky flaps installed. Thanks for the heads up on the poor alignment on the Pro Fits. Being an ex-tool & die guy its gotta be perfect or it will drive me crazy!

I tried to order a set of Huskys from Cabelas a month ago but I was told that their on hold due to "fitment issues". I hope they fix it soon, road salt season starts here any day now.

 

Trim the OEMs. I took 4" off the fronts & 1" off the rears.

 

If you're just wanting shorter flaps i trimmed mine with tin snips, they made a nice smooth cut...worked out great

 

Power Flow Pro-Fit 7" flaps look great on my truck - no alignment issues whatsoever. I used the stock flaps as a template and took my time.

Dan can you post a pic. I just bought some Huskys and there nearly the same size.

Same size as the ProFit, or same as stock?

 

It's hard to tell scale from the pictures, but these suckers are about4" shorter than the OEM front flaps.

I'm glad I was not the only one the noticed that.

 

Thanks for the pics. I was hoping for something just atd shorter. Guess I may go without at this point.
