tinting your taillights is one of the stupidest things you could do to your vehicle. I don't care how cool you (or someone else) thinks it is and how it would score you major "Bro" points or that you need everything "murdered out" its a pretty dumb idea lessen the amount of light that passes through the lenses of the taillights.

Haha almighty then. I just like the look I guess. I didn't tint the brake lights, just the reverse and blinker.

    Disagree
not all tail lights on every car out there produce the same light.
Translucent paint combined with high output lights will be visible at
the specified distances according to local laws. Minimum daylight
visible distance should be reviewed prior to tinting though....
    Know your laws!

Especially with people tailgating and riding your ass, thinking they are pro-drivers and don't think that they need to leave distance between them and the car infront of them. All it takes is some dumbass to not see you hit your brakes and BOOM you get rearended...

I plan on tinting mine at some point. I understand the point you are trying to make about how we don't need to reduce the light output. But if the cops in the area don't enforce the law, and we're willing to take the risk then to each there own... I know, there is still the fact that I'm putting others at slight risk, but shit happens and you learn from it! :)

Thats the way I see it. I dont disagree one bit with any of those statements. I left the the brake like original to decrease chances of any of this happening. No one is gonna stop if you have a blinker on, but if you have the brake down and the blinker you will be in good shape. I tried to put a little thought into although you might not agree with my thinking haha
