Bent Skid Plate

    Anybody bent the stock front skidplate on the TRD offroad package? What did you do to fix it? Just take it off and hammer it back out?

    I'd count yourself fortunate and put a real skid plate on before you aren't so lucky next time.

    ok ill probably bend it back into shape for now as im a broke college student, and then save up for a real plate!

    Yeah, the aluminum TRD skid plate is really just for looks. If you're off roading you'll probably want a steel skid plate at some point.

    ATO, Bud's, All Pro (in before jandrews...), etc.

    Basically a skid plate made out of plate steel instead of sheet metal.

    Before I got my Bud Builts the aluminum one saved my front a couple times. It is better than nothing (but still not that great) :)
