Mounting TOYOTA Emblem

Hello All!
I just got this in the mail and im stoked as i can now finish the front end of my satoshi!

The problem is I do not know how to mount it in the center. My satoshi will be done this week so I need to know now how I'm gonna mount it. Thanks in advance

I used expoxy and its been holding fine thru winter and car washes and such.

 

I painted two screws black drilled them through the mesh and put some epoxy on the back:

 

what is the back of it look like? just flat? if it has a clips of some kind you could use zip ties. think ive heard of that before.

 

Whats that? How does that mount it?

 

It has 3 "crosshair" protrusions at the "A" the 2nd "O" and the "T"

 

Where can I buy one of those emblems?

Epoxy glue. I basically filled the back side of the emblem and stuck it to the grill material. The epoxy oozzed around the metal and I put some weights on it to let it set up. Then when it dried, I turned the grill over and went over the back of it too. No fastener except tape to hold it in place while it set up. Been working fine with sub zero temps in the winter and +100 temps in the summer and car washes inbetween

I cut the f'r apart with a dremel and then epoxied my screws to the back (in the appropriate positions that are level, distanced, etc). Slap it on and tighten it up.

 

Well i guess epoxying the back of the emblem (after cutting off the protrusions with a dremel) and slapping it in the middle(after alignment) and epoxying it again on the other side of the mesh will hold it there. We'll see.

 

it works well that way.

 

2 or 3 screws thru plastic between letters, washers & nuts on the back.
Paint heads black. All after cutting posts of the back of the emblem.
Another method is to wrap 2 or 3 Cable Ties thru the mesh and around the Plastic between letters.
Or You can go overboard and do what I did.

Just got my emblem today. I wanted to subscribe to this thread so when I begin working on an install tomorrow I can come back and have a reference point.

You have lots of options as you can see so far. You can attach the emblem as one piece, as designed, or cut it up to obtain individual letters. The individual letters allow you to adjust the layout spacing on your grille. I elected the individual letters; to date, I have found several dabs of clear RTV on each letter works pretty well. Has held up 4 wheeling through the Colorado Mts and has gone through the winter with no signs of weakening.
