    What are the rules around carrying in national forests?

    If its a national park, the state law doesnt apply. If I read that quote correctly it applies to carrying in a NC state park. Not national parks.

    IIRC There was a change in Federal law this year that allowed concealed carry in parks as long as the State allowed it. Before that it was illegal all the way.

    ETA: Anyway, I'm not a lawyer and I'm a sworn LEO anyway so I'll have my piece on me :)

    Also, I read that the new NC law that goes into effect Dec 1 allows carry in parks

    (c1) Any person who has a concealed handgun permit may carry a concealed handgun on the grounds or waters of a park within the State Parks System as defined in G.S. 113-44.9.

    Easy killer. I don't want to have to do any more ring-gear repair this year. Done enough already.

    Also, and this is totally up to you, but it's my taste...I'd paint over the logo and make people ask what they are ;)

    I laid down the primer then a coat of white then I used the window sticker he gave me then sprayed a coat of black then pealed the letters off
