Yeah, Reno trips usually come together last minute for me. Once i found out the expendables we're playing at knitting factory i was sold.
That VORRA loop (green line) depicted in the map i linked looks really fun too, i was looking at some videos of the VORRA race on that route and i'm sure it won't disapoint.

Come-on fellas...who's in for some skinny pedal desert action?

Too short of notice... plus I busted a front axle seal last weekend at PC, so probably not good to go that far without oil :p

Fuck it, I'm gonna ask the wife. I doubt she'll let me go cause I'm heading to SEMA in a couple weeks, but worth a shot. If I go, I'm bringing my AR. Gotta love Nevada BLM.

    YES!! DO IT.
Nice quad, that's definately on my wish list. My buddy's girlfriend that comes on most of our rides just got a Honda 400EX. I LOVE riding that thing.

And yes, ANYthing goes on NV BLM. And we usually take full advantage of "anything".

You talking about the v-noch? Yeah moonrocks eats a lot of rigs. I've had a lot of fun out there.

Yeah i'll post up here next time i go to slickrock and drop you a line as well. Its a fun and scenic trail with tons of camping along the creek abutting the trailhead and the myriad of lakes that are out there. Although I think the season for anything that high is over. Farmers almanac is calling for a wet winter. There was a little snow on the side of the road at Bear Valley.
Now comes the desert/pismo missions for me. Going to johnson valley either before or after thanksgiving on the week of thanksgiving.

Yeah snow wheeling is fun, i think slick rock is mild enough for that. If you have chains or enough motor and tires to power through things you'll be fine. Like this guy in the box on the con

    Crazy bastard

I like iron mountain/morman imagrant trail for since its close. I like charging all the way through as fast as my rig will allow then doing a half day boarding kirkwood...that makes for a pretty high pace day.
