This applies mainly to the Northern half of the county and to the Canucks.

How are they holding up now that we have had the first real thaw? The roads here in mid Michigan are absolutely falling apart. Some of them are like driving on dirt roads. You really have to pay attention to road so you don't break any suspension parts.

We're coming into serious pothole season.I've hit a couple in the past few days that rattled the fillings in my teeth.Like tou say,it's like driving on a rutted dirt road and it's going to get worse before it gets better.:(

Here in Minneapolis, the roads are dirty but not in bad shape. Or at least not where I go... :)

I can always tell when I cross from Delaware into pennsylvania. There is a tooth jarring THUD when I hit that first of many potholes.

The ones I drive round here in WA are scary. A couple by my house are undercut. Im waiting for them to disappear down the hillside. The cauldron holes have been patched by whom i think is Stevie Wonder.

south western canada (kelowna B.C in my case) roads aren't bad at all. there are a few random pot holes but they are completely fine other than that. but we dont drive on ours in the winter having dog sleds and all so they dont get much abuse.

Our roads in Colorado are always being worked on. It's like our state flower is the orange cone.

Here in Minnesota, they say there are two seasons... Winter and Orange Cone.

some of this, a little of that
Here in lovely Spokane the roads are horrible. We have always had pretty bad roads but his winter seems to have been extra difficult on them.

    "horrible"

Ha ha that is a lie, you're roads there flat out suck.

We were transporting two of our truck cranes a couple years back on I-90 and we couldn't keep them between the lines cause those corn furrows would grab the front tires and you'd go back and forth, up and down over and over, hell i thought I was at 6 flags on the coaster

Our city dept. is doing a damn good job with keeping the upkeep on the roads, along with keeping everything sanded and plowed.
