ya it going to be hard to fined something like that because they only made the locks for the 98-99 models maybe earlier models but then they made them without the lock... try taking it to a lock smith and see if they have something that will fit... on my truck my lock got jammed dew to corrosion and they fixed it, if they cant fix it then just buy another gas door without the lock and buy a cap that will lock.

oh dang man didnt know our gas door locks were so exlusive lol that sucks though. but yeah after i noticed that i got siphoned i went straight to the parts store and got me a locking cap. id love to get the door lock fixed though i hate having an extra key on my ring...got to many already. i see if i cant locate a junk yard with a 98-99 taco.

ya i know im pulling a little bit more then a new 4.0 tacoma, i did the research but i might be wrong, and mines a v6 3.4 (gas sucks) I got the truck for $5,000 how it sits now, it did have a lot of really big problems when i got it. rear shocks where shot, tires were bald, ball joints and tie rod ends were shot and bellows from the rack and pinion were torn, had to replace the knock sensor to pass emissions, battery was really old, the right rear axle shaft was bend so i had to replace that... and that's it and now its cleaner and healthier then ever :D so far I've done all the work to it. its cheaper and i really dont trust mechanics to do the work, if they can do it why cant i.... always say that to myself. :D so far so good
