Got a question about the fit of some used tires posted on a craigslist add. They are off a Chevy silverado and are 285-50-20 in size. I have spent a good amount of time looking on these forums, but I can't find anywhere that will tell me if they will fit on my '07 Tacoma. I don't have a lift kit or anything and don't really plan on installing one. I love my taco but I think it would be cool to get some wheels that will fill up the wheel wells a little better without any interference. Any help would be appreciated quickly, since I've spent a lot of time looking and need to get some answers soon before they're sold.

Those are approximately the same size as 285/60/18s, which several members on here run without a lift. A couple have had to trim a little to get them to fit though.

    None but soon......
I think you would need a 20" rim to put those on your truck. Most people would recommend 16" or 17". Is that the look you are going for? Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Uh, yes he would need a 20" rim. I was assuming he knew this but I guess you never know these days.

    What? Not correct at all.

I think you mean 6 lug vs 5 lug.

Hey thanks for all the replies. Yes. The wheels are 6 lug. One of the reasons I posted the question was because I couldn't find what the backspacing was for the Chevy rims. I really just prefer to have the wheels fit without any mod. I know myself well enough to know that I would probably get too impatient and will mess something up. I just don't want to hurt my baby.

Oh. I just realized what some of the confusion was. On my original post I didn't put tires and rims (20" 6 lug chrome) sorry. I'll you to be better at proof reading my posts from now on.

I was thinking that Chevy hub bores are a little smaller than the Toyota hub bores.

Are the wheels part of the craigslist add and are they OEM Chevy or aftermarket?

Not 100% positive, but I think they are OEM. I'm gonna see if I can figure out if I can put the posting on here.

For future reference, the wheels would not have fit if they are oem
