I'll be honest, not alot of water was consumed there... if at all any..

 

I feel this needs to be said, so yesterdays night shift I was given about 4-5 major jobs to be done ASAP, their "Emergancies of the Day" as we like to call them. So I bust my ass most of last night geting EVERYTHING they needed done. only to come in tonight, to be told there is no work for me, and to just sit here for 12 hours on standby... Apparently my boss told me he thought there was no way in hell i'd finish everything by myself last night (Cause co-worker was off with rum flue).. I don't mind getting paid to do fuck all but don't try telling me its all emerg work when you had it scheduled to be done over 3 fucking days... rant over..

 

so what did you have to do

 

Haunted houses tonight with wife ,son, and SIL. Should be fun

1) well we have this big pit in the ground we call the "Lime slurry sump" that contractors filled with oily water so I had that mess to deal with (Oil + water + lime = bad) 2) An audit on all the stop/start switchgear for the entire plant (About 140-150 pieces of eaquipment) 3) Cleaning the PEB (Power Electrical Buildings) because dust will fuck up and cause arcing of the high voltage e-switchgear in the breakers (we had one burn out yesterday, hence the sudden OMFGness) 4) Prep our steam system and the valve line up on it to be commisioned this morning (Day crew guys were happy about that) 5) Regular walkthroughs and routine duties.

whenever i was putting air in my tires i noticed that both drivers side tires had cracking sidewalls....no good for offroad.

might have a line on KM1s for ~400, 2 are used "with good tread" and 2 are new.

 

I get told daily that he's lucky to have me, so daily I ask for a raise haha I have a pretty awesome boss, he's just bloody disorganized some days, and he knows it too, I think his memories starting to go he's in his 50's..

I plan on burning off my current rubber and replacing it with a better grade in the spring, I'll be putting on my winters here within the next month and I'll be limited to only 150ish
