    Always use that stuff. Actually think I went a bit overkill with it last time which may be the problem. Either that or the fact that I'm still using factory shims after 100k miles and on my third set of pads. Still squeaking after I cleaned it up a little bit. I think at this point I need to get a kit of new shims and pins and re-install the pads. Oh well, it's only a small squeak when I first touch the brakes.

    On the plus side my rear brakes are finally properly adjusted for the first time in probably 3+ years. Self-adjusting my ass, the shoes on one side were coming to rest a good 3-4mm off the drum. Manually adjusted and I now have confidence in my parking brake again.

    But I don't have one of those, I have quick grips and they work good :D
