:wave:Welcome Dan:wave:...TW is quite addicting but the best Tacoma site around for information...when I started this thread(over 60+), there was me and Jim(river rat 69)and we have been growing ever since. Still get harassed by the youngsters now and again, but we have shown them that "YES there is Tacomas after 60":D...

Hey MT...hope you have nice weather for the weekend...if your a train buff, we have a train museum out here in Strasbourg PA. Never did the museum, but did do the train ride on the old steam driven run.:) If you ever get out this way, drop me a PM and I can meet up and do the rounds for the area..Ken

    MTM:
Post up some pics tomorow. There are a few of us train buffs here on the board.

Model trains as a hobby, O Gauge, makes collecting firearms as a hobby look pretty tame. Easy to sink mega bucks and time into the hobby.

 morning all. Just wanted to say hi before I hit the bx and commissary, then home to attempt to change my spark plugs and rear diff fluid. If I get done in time, I'll go to the local meet. Have to get the plugs changed today.... do not like working in the cold  Spent too many years working outside in it and don't like it. Don't know what the weather will be in the next couple of months :anonymous:

Wish me luck  they come out without too much trouble

Hi Susan, hope you don't run into any problems with the plugs:D...I've heard pros and cons about using a dab of Anti-Seize on the threads, but in my line of work, I've seen to many stripped heads not to use it:confused:...let me know how you make out...Ken

    Bump X2:thumbsup:...Ken

I use dab of anti-seize on plug threads. very carefull about cross threading,or over tightning in aluminum. no problems.

DONE!!!! all six replaced!!! :yay: done for another 3 - 4 years!!! I thought the drivers side back was supposed to be the tough one.... it was the front one that kicked my butt.

I used some anti-seize. There's a thread around here and it says that some plug threads are covered with some coating and the anti seize isn't necessary, but on the other plugs it was required.

 very careful to not cross thread!!! Thank goodness for my neighbor.... I didn't have a 1/4" long extension to take the front bolt out to get the air filter, cover thingy off. If he hadn't had something I could use, I'd have had to go to Lowe's to get one...

Time to change the air filter and put her back together
