Ya, basic will be a blast for ya man. Gonna get some hiking done, with more shit than you're used to! :p HAHA
WELL I dunno about that part, but unless you usually go hiking and camping with flack jackets, sappi plates, bullets, a gun or two, on top of all the other crap then you'll be G2G! :D

Seriously though, I hope you enjoy it man!

More push ups. They're good for you.

I'm not kidding - do them all the time. At work on breaks, at home everytime you pass through a doorway, etc. Ask your recruiter if he will grade you on your push ups. You will thank yourself down the road.

Thats cool. Army runs in my family too. My dad is a retired First Sergeant, coulda went Major, but decided to retire instead. My oldest brother did 4 years in the Army, my second oldest brother did 4 years in the Air Force (Intel, same as you) and My sis did a stint in the Navy.

A little heads up, I would suggest against Infantry right now. They aren't letting the 11-bang bangs re-enlist without reclassing to a different MOS because of the downsizing we are going through right now. There are other jobs that are considered combat arms jobs, without being straight up infantry. It would be a more combat support role, but when shit hits the fan... it hits the fan. c
