Then we drove till we found #10 University Firepower and #4b Powerline. Holy shit, Powerline can be tough in some spots.

I had fun. And was very surprised how well the truck did. Sliders would have helped though just for peace of mind

Ha I thought that was the area you were talking about. We went the other way back on the 8th. Trying to get up that root is interesting, you want to turn away from the tree but you have to actually turn sorta towards it.

I know I'm always tossing out too much advice, but please bear with me since this one is a safety issue -

    1. In the video, you guys had a natural tendency to reach for the tree and push it. Unless you can bench 4500 lbs., you aren't going to do much better than getting in the habit of busting an arm.
    2. In that first video where you said, "Listen to him", that was awesome. One driver, one spotter. You get too many spotters and you confuse the driver on what to do. If the spotter can't see everything, the spotter needs to call for a stop and re-assess. i bring this up because I was on a trip where there were 3 yelling spotters and one driver who ended up on his side.

By the way, Jason sounded like he did a great job of play-by-play, especially with "you are going to drop here", "you are going to hear mudflap". Nice.

Nice job fellas. Keep us hungry for the 29th :)

Is this up at Tahuya? I've been wanting to go up there since I got my truck, it's looks fun as hell. I want to go up with ya'll sometime, as long as you don't mind a no-name noob trying to keep up in a pretty much stock DC/LB with no A-TRAC :p I think she can easily make it through most of the runs, it's still a Tacoma w/ 4wd:D

Aaah, I see. The TSF threw me off, I thought it was Tahuya State Forest. Well if you Oregonians ever wanna trek up north, we should get a group meet together for Tahuya. I really wanna check it out sometime.

It's right outside Belfair, WA. I've seen some nice off-roading pics/vids from up there.
