90915-20004 is the part number which my truck came with.
The 90915-YZZD3 is the replacement for the US market. Both made by DENSO.

I will use the 20004, as long as I can get them.

Might also work to "prove" to the dealer that you have done your oil changes for warranty issues. Easier to say to him "look at your computer" for oil filter purchase proof than to save a bunch of Auto Zone receipts.

    Carson Toyota, in CA.

They are more expensive, I figure they are good enough for the factory, they are good enough for me.

maybe the more expensive 20004 filter is actually a cheap filter just to get the engine out of the factory and not meant to be run under normal conditions? maybe the D3 is actually a better filter?

just playing devils advocate...thanks for the info!

Awesome! You answered this question in about 8 minutes! I did not even need to ask!

Everyone try and always remember to do a search before asking your question, most times someone has already asked it!

20004 is AWESOME filter... they are made of Synthetic Fibers!!

YZZD3 is made if paper... just like everything else... like (MOBIL 1)

I use the 20004 winter time with Amsoil... hard to change oil in the winter time here... too cold... I run it for 10k before I do anything... then summer back to Pennzoil or Mobil 1 with the cheap filter! :)
