    On another note, my potluck didnt go as planned, haha. It was just my pot roast and another brought mashed taters so I didnt take any pics. It was a good time though!!:D

    This was my other pic from Boston. If you ever find yourself there, a trip to Union Oyster House is a must. It's like 200 years old and has lots of Revolutionary War history (just like everything in Boston). Very cool atmosphere and good food.

    Scrod, giant scallops, oysters, clams, maybe a shrimp or two. Would kill you quick if you ate it everyday but for a midwest foodie it was heaven to be so close to so much seafood.

    Oh, it's also where Sam Adams films some of their commercials, so they have an exclusive Sam Adams brew! Can't remember what it's called though.

    No problem. The wife and I talked about cooking something we haven't made in a while. It was hard and we are still thinking about it. We were supposed to go to a football game on Saturday, but that is going to fall through. We are going to have a couple over that have a girl the same age as my daughter. I was thinking veal ossu buco or maybe evena beef wellington. Any input, and we were thinking something that takes a bit of skill and out of the box???

    Oh yeah and we just got our stove top burners and broiler adjusted. It is much more manageable now which is nice.

    oooo nice.. id go for the beef wellington! its like a freakin pastry but then when you bite into it its like HOLY COW!! full of YUM! although i never had it, it looks freakin amazing. :)

    then again, i havent had veal for a long time and maybe braised veal osso bucco doesnt sound bad after all..nehhh stick to beef wellington.. mmm crispy n flaky!

    dang it, im just hungry.. time for the morning boiled egg...

    make a strawberry flavor cheesecake, melt a thin layer of chocolate on top then top it with some fresh cut strawberries. Then drizzle white chocolate for some design :)

    oh dude i've done that before a few times... not good. its like you walk down the isle and you look at something you never cooked or less likely cook and be like( example and to keep it simple, spaghetti) "oh, i think imma make that. I'll just get 1 box of spaghetti well maybe 2 boxes i might want some more later. And for the sauce lets get the mushroom one, and the sausage. I'll get the alfredo too just incase i want that instead" hahahahaha

    "hmm maybe i'll just buy the frozen ones and save those spaghetti dishes for later. im hungry now and dont want to wait on cooking"
