Do any off roading? If so, keep an eye on the Texas BS thread; we tend to have a group going to Bridgeport about once a month it seems.

Do you work at Dell or just located close to there? Not wanting a deal or anything; just thought it would be funny if I called into support one day and spoke to someone I "know".

Yeah just a little yellow and smells like sulfur. Not to butt in a conversation or anything, but it seems like everytime i call into Dell with help on one of our servers they always send me to someone who can barley speak a lick of english . Someone from Texas we could understand would be awesome

Spend enough with them and get "gold" level support; works for me :D. The second alternative is just to use the Dell Support Chat; which I generally like better anyways because I don't have to sit on hold for 15 mins first. I just bring up the chat and wait until I hear the sound that the support rep has typed something. Then I come back to my computer and get what I need.

Haha Gold Level? I've never heard of that, may be somethin i need to look into. The support chat is nice, got a few issues taken care of using that. I want to get dell certified so that i wont be voiding any warrantys when i work on stuff, but its not as easy as it used to be

As long as you replace parts that are listed as "user servicable" than the warranty is not voided. I do all the hardware replacement work on out PCs and Servers at all of our clients and they are all still fully covered.
