There's really no need to go super fast in 4Lo...you should only be using it when you need to get through something tricky. There are things like the Widow Maker here in AZ where I've put my jeep in 2nd, 4Lo and then bombed it up the hill, or for mud/snow.

For the most part, there really is no need to go fast when you're in 4Lo.

I think it really depends on the situation, and the individual's preference. I would not attempt to dictate to anyone here how to drive their own truck. My approach to 4-wheeling varies with the terrain & individual situation encountered.

To each their own, of course.

    :D i love my locker
But at the end of the day, its not 4x4.. So plan accordingly when offroad exploring, Dont let that deter you at all, lockers majorly help, but again.. Not 4x4.. I have yet to get stuck on anything, Because I know what my truck is capable of, and not capable.

Lowering your tires' air pressure is a night and day difference in traction, as well.

you should think of selling it soon and getting a 4wd or trade it for a 4wd dont put money in a truck that is not 4x4 if you really want to rock crawl, instead save money, sell truck, buy same truck but 4x4, and upgrade, you'll love it and enjoy it
