    Hello,

Just got my new bumper from All-Pro this week, while researching I found that some people didn't get instructions with theirs. Mine came taped to the side of the box, I can see about scanning it if anyone needs them for an install.

Haven't installed it yet, just thought I'd post up that I have the instructions...

    Rob

*EDIT* Instructions for both Toyota Front Bumper Removal and All-Pro Plate Bumper are now attached below a few posts down...

I don't need the instructions, but if you don't mind I certainly would take a look at those scans. I'm curious what the install is like.

Get pics of the bumper! :)

OK, I'll scan it at work today and attach to this thread tonight. I also have the Toyota bumper removal instructions (Longhorn Taco gets credit for this) which I'll add also to make this thread complete. Thanks folks!

    Hello folks!

Instructions are now attached, the pics are not clear so I'll take my own when I install it this weekend and hopefully it will be clearer. Enjoy!

I've also included the Toyota Instructions for removing the grill and stock bumper cover, thanks goes to Longhorn Taco who originally posted it.

Nice job! Can you take a picture of the underside, where those skid plate braces are? Looks like you left yours on...

I'm on the fence about removing the braces, I don't want to completely have the bumper rubbing, what I'll probably do is pull the bumper and put it on above the flare portion (or lip) of the brace and put washer between the bumper and frame, we'll see. But here are the pics you requested.

Thanks for the pics zero! I think I'm gonna go down tonight and take a look at some adjustments... Doing a little wheelin this weekend and I can't have the bumper in 100% contact with my fender flare even when not flexed...

So you removed the braces and have no skid plate right? I'll be interested to see your gap difference...

Just make sure you have some washers handy too cause you may need it for adjusting the height. Let me know what happens with your adjustment and I'll update this thread when I remount my bumper.

I went to Home Depot and got a handful of washers... It's much better now, but one of the bottom bolts seems to be all jacked up now. Gonna grab a new one tomorrow.

    Here it was before:

Here's a pic of part of the scuffs from the bumper:
    IMG_0566_bb41b4f71ca327da0e41988ab86dbdc0ae93d8ab.jpg

Each side got 5 washers, lowered it a total of 5/16":

Oh, and here is where the fender flare rubbed the top of the bumper. Kinda hard to see, but it's rubbed a little of the powder coat off the top of the bumper...

    LTC,

You should still have those longer bolts from the hook on the passenger side. Those are longer so they won't strip like the shorter ones. Yes I striped on too. It just wasn't long enough. I should let All-Pro know about the height difference as mine wasn't a one-off. AP basically said with the bottom plate of the bumper touching the frame, there should be a 1/4" gap from the top of the bumper to the bottom of the headlights, just like your picture, but there needs to be adequate space, maybe they should add a spacer for those without a AP skid plate.

Thanks Rob! I saw those longer bolts from the tow hook sitting on my desk and thought about using them, then just forgot about them! I'll try them. But are they too long?

Also, I talked to Terry at All Pro this morning about this when I ordered some more stuff and I sent these pictures to him. I'll be interested to know what his response will be. Of course, this is the same guy that said I wouldn't have to notch the pinch weld on my cab to bolt up the sliders either... They had "corrected" that issue. Well, I guess it uncorrected itself, because there's absolutely no way to get all four bolts per mounting plate on the frame without notching that pinch weld!

Anyway, live to mod another day! :)
