the dents look like they are just pressed in, but there are several creases on the edges of the dents especially on the access cab door.

so i dont think one of those suction cup dent removers would work.

that shit'll buff out no problem lol. if you off road your truck regularly then knock them out and get some sliders with the check then if it really bothers you can alway's fix it at a later date. this way if you ever do decide to fix it you'll have some protection in the form of free sliders so this won't happen again.

I'd fix it. That's what you buy insurance for. Not to make truck payments.

I personally would go get it fixed properly. Even if there is only small spots of cracked paint banging it out and using touch up paint won't seal the metal properly. I've given it a try on the gfs jeep cause she was to cheap to pay for it to get done properly, even after I told her I could get it done at a fraction of the actual cost. When it started to rust she finally listened to me and got it done properly. Ultimately the choice is yours and whatever makes you happy. If you want a newer truck thats beat all over and going to start rusting leave it be. If you want to try and keep it looking minty for as long as possible get it fixed. Choice is yours alone. Plus you could always try repairing it yourself and just take it to a body shop to get prepped and painted. But if you're not that confident in your own work keep in mind everything shows up in fresh paint. Good luck with your decision!

Spend a few hundred bucks on PDR and put the rest towards paying the truck off/mods.

I'm curious - what did the insurance company say about the damage having happened offroad?

Damn that sucks! I'd get it banged out and rhino coat / bed line the bottom panel. Think it would look great on your truck. There's a body shop here in Roselle, NJ (not sure how far you are from us) that will do it pretty cheap. Unfortunately we've had two neighbors back into our Camry in the past year. The first time needed a whole new bumper which needed to be painted and the whole nine yards. Only paid $800. This time, both front and rear door on the driver's side are banged in pretty bad and we're going to be paying $1,059 for them to be hammered out and both repainted. PM me if you want the contact info for the shop. Maybe it'd be worth it.

I don't blame you for the deductible. My deductible is at $2,000. The one time you do have to file a claim, they'll rape you on the premium for the next however many years. I just pay for the damage out of pocket and keep my deductible high to keep the premium low. I consider insurance a form of blackmail.

    neglect, mostly.
get it fixed and enjoy the rest of your money. my body shop guy could fix that for less than $1000 painted. . . i had some heavy dents in my driver door when i bought my truck and it cost me like $350, banged out and painted.

i voted just push it out and spend the money on something else for your beast, some people say fix it but you got to make sure who is saying that.....there's alot of people here that just fix there truck's for the streets and there's alot of other people that offroad a lot. if your going to off road alot i wouldn't worry about spending the cash to make it look pretty again, i would rather push it out myself and use the money for upgrades... (bumper and wench, lift kit, Super Charger, etc).
