Which plug and wires???/other question

ok so i can decide on which plugs are best, the NGK dual electrode, or the Denso ones. And as for wires Denso or NGK? or should i just get the plugs and wires from the dealer?

and my second questions is whats wrong with my truck? lets say im crusing at like 25mph, i can push my gas pedal pretty much all the way to the floor and its not down shifting, and/or when i am pushing the gas it doesnt get up and go, it feels real weak. i just wanna get it running good like when i got it from the dealer.

i got some cash and a case of beer to anyone who would like to meet up in orange county to diagnose my truck. someone who knows exactly what there talkin about, and who knows toyota's

 

nope no check engine lights, i had a misfire awhile back but the check engine light went off. the filter is clean. i have not clean my MAS ever. do you thing that could make a big difference if i cleaned it? anything else to check? how would i get my cats checked out?

 

Denso is factory stuff, thats what i got. As for tranny downshift, check vaccum lines or the tv/kick down cable(not sure what what setup they use).

yup, i never go to the dealer if i don't have to. Most of the time you're paying more for the exact same part, from the exact same manufacturer. I got mine from advanced for 2.99 a plug. Just make sure you open the box and look at the plugs to confirm they are the right one and if you can take the old plug in with you. We have a few good parts guys around here, but most of them can't tell their ass from a hole in the gorund.

 

I just got new plugs and wires for my 95 Taco at Napa because I had a cylinder misfire. I got the NGK duel electrode plugs and the Napa wires and she runs like a dream again. I used to have the Bosch plugs but I heard bad things about them. I agree, stay away from the dealership as much as you can!

 

denso or NGK for plugs. I use NAPA premium plug wires because they are made in the USA

I have read that our taco's use denso dual electrode plugs for OEM. When i went to autozone the denso's they had in their system that were OEM match were single electrode. Whats the deal?

Sea Foam to clean out the intake, injectors, and cylinders.

 

+1, and clean MAF and throttle body
