    so i was looking for a 4x4 tacoma for a while. found it and luckily sold my tacoma pretty fast to my girls dad. its a red1998 xtracab with 127k miles, an automatic transmission, 5vz engine and tan interior. clean title and im the 3rd owner.

    current mods-
    15x7 eagle alloy wheels painted flat black
    32x11.5x15
    2" spacer up front (soon to be off)
    bilstein 5100 and eibach toytec springs for front (not installed)
    bilstein 5125 shocks for rear (not installed)
    plastiderped fenders
    kobalt tool box

    gray wire mod, blacked out, debadged, toolbox foglights, cb in dash, system, bilstein 5100's in front wrapped in eibach coils, 5125's in the rear with 2 inch aal and 1 inch shackle, diff drop kit, extended rear brake line, 8000 lb smittybuilt winch on a custom winch bumper, 2 4 inch 100 watt kc's and 2 6 inch 100 watt kc's on the bumper, sometimes a ladder rack,much more to come
    Looks like a good start, i have those same tires

    nice love the front end of that year. you could of just removed the fenders to paint them. FYI ;)

    taco centipede? got the valve cover gaskets done over the weekend 6 hours and few bloody knuckles, but no longer leaking oil.

    Yeah, I read further in the thread and ended up thinking that :D

    How'd your wheels come out? Looks like you didn't sand or prime, just spray it with high heat rustoleum, correct?

    How are they holding up?

    yea, just cleaned those things with nail polish remover. They are holding up great. No scuffs or chipping yet. The rustoleun is holding better than the krylon i used on the 4runner.
