Hey, new member here. Have gathered so much info from all you other tacoma owners on this forum that I thought I may as well join.
I'm in the market for some "armor" for my fairly stock tacoma and like the price, look, weight, and apparent functionality of the the bumpers and brush gaurds they offer. Anyone have an opinion or first hand experience. My trucks primarily a pavement pusher, think it could hold up to some small bumps from the retards on the road?

And I'd say that it's perfect for street queens and underbuilt for anything halfway tough offroad

This. It won't hold up to real wheeling, but for pavement preening it's perfect.

My skids and front bumper have served me well at the strip malls.

Had any need for it yet? My brother has an '85 toyota pickup and just took out a deer on his way to work after just recently buying a rock defense bumper. he's confident that it saved him a lot of money on repairs that would have been necessary without the bumper. I was looking more into it and for the '98-'00 models you have to do some minor welding on the truck which sucks.

    Elite FTW.

I like plate bumpers much more than tube ones like Allpro
