Been driving through Yosemite for the last 2 days, I lost count of how many Tacomas I have seen! 2nd Gen mostly, but quite a few 1st Gen and a few PreTacomas still kicking it like pros! Makes me wish I was in my truck instead of the rental Dodge 2500 Diesel I have been renting for work...

Eggs rolls and honey walnut shrimp

 

I made the honey walnut shrimp the other day. Came out so tender!!

 

Damn! We parked in the dirt parking area there across that intersection on the road to Burnside Lake and ate lunch on the tailgate. Next year, go up 89 toward Luther Pass. After you make that long left hand turn going up the hill, you pass into a grove of aspens. At the other end of it, there's a road off to the right (uphill toward Tahoe) that has a stop sign on it (paved for 50 feet). Take that up 2 or 3 miles (you get above the aspens by the time you hit the 2nd cattle crossing). But the best ones we found were up there. I think it's forest road 510.

i went to ace this morning and got actual bolts for the upper ones. instead of the jenky carrage bolts i just found im my garage when making my red neck bracket.
