    Business, with a criminal justice minor. But it looks like I'm going to just go for criminal justice as my major. Already done with all my lower level classes, and basics.

    the guy never replied. I found two 87's for each being around $1300. Going to talk to the old man and see what he thinks about it.

    In what environment? Just working on your PC at home or have you been able to work on some routing/switching type stuff? Just curious because that is a segment of the industry that is starting to loose techs because it isn't "new" and cutting edge. Which is fine because there is still a strong need for good network techs that can cover LANs, WANs, and all the 802.11 integration.


    Why were you on probation so much if they had so much help?

    Just putting a 2 cents in on the IT field stuff, if you know alot about hardware and software and some basics in networking and some telecomm I know a ton of the plants surrounding Houston and even some down here hire on full time employees to take care of that stuff on site. Plus they make big bucks, where im employed now hired me as a Co-op last year while attending Lamar university and they paid me 27 an hour starting off. Now im salaried and still attending night classes to finish off another degree

    WHAT??? I do domain admin work everyday, networking, hardware/software work all the time. Maybe I need to get my ass to Houston? Wait - scratch that, Houston sucks. I'm good up here around D/FW.

    btw if anyone needs STANDARD transmission work done there is a great place here in my town that does it. They will pick up from wherever you are and drop back off. They also do it for ALOT less than anywhere I have seen.....
