Finally got around to putting my new rear bumper on. I bought it from usatoyotaparts.com and had my local stealership paint it for me. My buddy and I put it on at about 10pm the other night and it took us about 2 hours. It was fairly easy considering the limited tool supply we had and the lack of light. The hardest part was taking the step pads off as you have to be very careful not to break the snap brackets on the bottom of the pads. All in all I am very very satisfied with the outcome and it really makes my truck look a hell of a lot better. Also in the photos is the custom tailgate decal Sock made me. He made it to match the font on my TRD All Terrain quarter panel decals that he made me. I think it sets my truck apart a little bit. Let me know what you guys think!

    Looks awesome!

I would love to get a color-matched rear bumper for mine. One of these days...

    The decal looks sick too!

Why did you have to take the step pads off. I traded my colored bumper for a chrome one (Stupid mistake) and we did both in under 2 hours. All with leaving the step pads on.

I just bought the bumper, "skin" and had to use all the parts and pads from my chrome bumper.

Bumper looks good! I did the same to mine, but tore up one of the end pads because of the thread lock on the screws.

I actually broke an end pad thread locks but it doesn't move & is still tight so I'm not super worried about it. If it starts bothering me then I'll just buy another one or buy the whole set of pads. I just can't believe how much a color matched bumper makes a truck look better...it's insane! I love it! Thanks for the compliments guys.

The bumper was $172.00 shipped to my door from usatoyotaparts.com and my local dealership charged $255 to paint it.

If that is for an OEM Toyota bumper, that price is insane! I may consider this now...

Yeah, it's oem but it's just the skin and doesn't come with any components. You have to use the parts and pieces from your old bumper. Usatoyotaparts.com does free shipping. It's the same people who own trdparts...a Toyota dealer in Richardson tx.
