    What hardware do you use for Deaver/Allpro LT rear springs on the front hanger, rear shackle and shackle pivot? Is it all 1/2"??

    I understand the benefits pretty well at this point, but what are the needs that get in the way of people swapping for beefier rear axles? Do you have to regear?

    depends what your doing with it. if your taking a tacoma and throwing a tundra rear under it, for the most part its a bolt in exchange. however if you want to toss a 6 lug 9 inch under your truck... the coin involved steers most people away very quickly. the gearing really comes down to what the truck will be used for along with tire size.

    not true. must retain stock filler neck and has to hold pressure and all stock emissions shit. it isnt easy but it is possible.

    im running 3/4 bolts on all pivots on my rear. some say overkill yes... but i like the peace of mind.

    Ok sounds good looks like I'm going with delrin bushings and 1 OD chromo sleeves with 3/4" grade 8s :) Same as my front end :cool:

    So I cracked a brake line / fitting yesterday getting maybe 6" of air. Any tricks or suggestions you guys have for keeping your brake lines protected while offroading hard? It's a cheap line. 8 bucks from Toyota. But if this is going to be happening often then I'd like to consider re-routing or re-enforcing. I had damn near no brakes after it happened thank god I have a 6 speed and compression braked the entire way home.

    nice to meet you too. unfortuantely the auto parts stores only had the generic lines and the 1/4" lines were all flared incorrectly. So I just went to toyota and ordered the line. wish I could have gotten fixed that day to have come back out with you guys.

    Fuck this motherfucking hobby.

    Just discovered brake fluid leaking out of one my rear drums (again!). Why the fuck does every vehicle I beat on beat me back?

    It's a non-stop trail of random, broken fucking parts. Thankfully it's nothing too expensive, but for fucks sake I would actually like to put some time and money towards mods and not repairs.
