Also, I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to have an opportunity at LSU or Bama in January...despite what everyone says about them having the NC in the bag already (it's still freaking Oct)

I'm not saying that we'd win...but I'd love to see how we would fare against such a dominating team :)

Plus we still owe Bama for that ass-whipping we got on their behalf recently

    neglect, mostly.
im not trying to get in a pissing match, i've just had my fair share of econ and marketing classes and always enjoy sports related marketing. . . and im sure you found it at the least bit interesting as well. and you're right in the grand scheme of things; football always pays the bills.

Yes most it would be awesome to play LSU or Bama, and it *IS* possible.

And you're right, you're never too old to go sit on the hill :) I've showed up at 7am for an 8pm kick before. I don't tailgate as elaborately as I used to...

Hold on...i said you're not too old to be there that early

I sat on the hill twice...that was more than enough for me

I hate sitting on the hill...that could be because i'm not a drunk student, and it could be because my season tickets are a better view of the field

I plan to head to Tuscaloosa at 7am at the latest - 12 hours before the game. When I have an assigned seat, I'm almost always in the stadium an hour before the game b/c that's when all the videos and such start...

It's the hour I'll spend standing in line before the student gates open, THEN the 2.5 hours I'll spend sitting on my ass waiting for kickoff that I'm not looking forward to.

Like I said, though... it'll just be the extra cost I have to pay for getting to go to the game for so cheap.

Didn't think you were. I'm surprised I was so wrong. All through school I heard that Football and Gymnastics made money at Alabama. I guess my source was full of it.

I minored in Econ, and I enjoyed the one marketing class I took, despite the fact that the professor was an arrogant prick.

So much win in the last few pages. You guys have free time to find all those stats. I should go through and print out all that just to hand out to Carolina fans. It would be fun just to watch them try to come up with excuses to real statistics. Along with the not starting a pissing match thing. I'll go ahead and cover my ass by saying sarcasm and joking does not really come through from my computer for some reason. I can say living in the middle of the state I am good friends with more Carolina fans than Clemson fans. Some I can talk football with and some I have slowly learned I might as well beat my head against a wall rather than argue and get bent out of shape over something that is insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Man, our D keeps getting thinner...this aint good boys....

"The rumors are true: Virginia Tech linebacker Bruce Taylor is out for the year with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. [...] Taylor is the third defensive starter from opening day to be lost for the year. Defensive tackle Antoine Hopkins tore his ACL against Clemson. Winslow was lost for the year because of a Lisfranc injury prior to the Wake Forest game."

About as shocked as Mike Shula letting his players decide which game/games to sit out a few years back.
