the tacoma i just bought a few months ago rides kind of harsh it feels like the shocks are really stiff. and i was wondering if i could get rid of this bad ride quality if i went with the blistein shocks.

Most likely yes. But more information would be helpful...
    What year is the truck?
    How many miles?
    Stock suspension?
Have the shocks been replaced ever?
Just those kind of things. But generally bilstein 5100s ride better than the stock setup and would probably ride better than whatever you have in there now.

Put some billys on, or you might be too sensitive (not a insult), it is a truck.

Just buy a 2nd gen! :crapstorm: Oh wait, my ride sucks too. It's a truck.:D

Seriously though. Old shocks will ruin your ride. 5100's are the way to go.

Good call. My family only has Toyota's. My dad has an 87 turbo pickup, 89 Camry, 89 4runner. My sister has a 93 4runner, her daughter has a 95.5 Tacoma. Then my 06 Tacoma & 08 4runner. Wouldn't own anything else.:D:D

Back on topic. If you are gonna get new shocks you should check out Downsouth Motorsports for the 5100's. If you mention TW you get a better deal than anywhere else. When I get enough saved up for mine that's where I'm going.

Use the search and look for a post called lifts, it has all the lift terminology you will need AAL (Add a leaf). Also goes thru all the pros and cons of the diff. types etc.. pretty good info.

That's a popular combo I see on here a lot. Eibach springs are good too. Or you could re-use the stock ones and save some cash. But at 100k it's probably not a bad idea to replace them.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Thats about what everyone is saying .

Unless you are asking about price. That price seems about right.
