Anybody notice a rattle in the doors where the window controls are? I noticed this when you close the doors and if you tap on the side of the control pod area....:( That being said, has anybody ever taken the window control pods out without removing the door panel? Will they pop out? I am thinking I can get some foam in there somewhere.

Christ everything in these Tacoma interiors rattle

I get that with certain bass frequencies (stock radio) on passengers side at the grab handle of the door. If I grab it the ratlle stops. Was thinking of removing the panel and investigating.

I had one rattle near the drivers side mirror area. (At least that was where it seemed to be coming from)

I took it in, they said they 'could not duplicate' the noise. Regardless, he said they tightened some things up and whatever they did, it worked as i have not heard it since.

I had looked it over pretty closely prior to bringing it in and couldn't find anything. I suspect they had an idea what it was from past experience and adressed it.

Other than that, it has been a great truck so far in the early going.

I was also wondering if the door window switch panel can be popped out without removing the door panel? Anyone do this?

nope. im pretty sure you need to pop the door panel and then push the switch panel from the back. Its really easy to pop the door panel though.

Yeah I get a mean rattle from the passenger side vent, from exactly the spot your talking about, and from about 25 other places. Im taking mine in to the dealer. They said they would have a tech ride with me and take note of the locations and hopefully fix them all. This is BS and it drives me nutz.

got it in the driver door too with certain bass notes, pass side is mostly going over road imperfections when cold. sounds like wires tapping on something. I noticed on others we test drove so it is probably a relatively common issue.
