Mine are made by Lund, but they go right into the same channel that the window goes in to and are held in place with double sided tape.

I really like the look. The in channel style is a much cleaner look and it's a oower profile. They don't stick out as far from the side of the truck.

^^ agreed. i have an off-brand from ebay that are in-channel and are mych better than the stick on the outside kind. just the fact that if u want to remove them, there is no left over. the stick on the outside require you to scuff up the black trim around the top of the window for it to stick

No Mudflaps, Fog lights on all the time, Map light/Dome light mod, Door sill protectors, In-channel window guards, Re-badged and sock-monkeyed,many more to come.
I've got EGR's. Front bend and snap in. Rear about the same but they come with thin double sided tape on them. Some people are uncomfortable with the width of the tape, so you can apply thicker tape on there if you want, I didn't. Mine have worked out fine since before Christmas.

I have them. They slide right in. No tap.. No glue.. No Fuss!!! Easy to put in, easy to take out if need to be. I have put these in about 10 different trucks/suv's and will only use the EGR brand.

I have read stories about the ones with no tape blowing out of the channels ocassionaly when the windows are down. Could just be "urban legend", but why take the chance.

I specifically looked for the ones that had the tape so that did not happen.

WOw it's weird I can't find anyone else with this problem. Mine work great for the back windows but in the front they won't stay in place when I lower the window down, then they vibrate like crazy.. your don't move at all with window operation? I'm currently in conversation with EGR to see if maybe I have a defective pair...

They fit like a glove, and stay in place. There are only 2 things I dont like

    1) When you have the window cracked and shut the door the front guards tend to vibrate a little. Just an annoying noise, nothing major

    2) I find that I cant open the window more then 1/3" - 1/2" when its raining or the rain somehow gets sucked in (only at highway speeds. This never happened with my old truck and the stick on kind, but I think its because this has a much smaller profile.

I have the AVS brand in-channel and they use double sided tape to hold them in place. Go get yourself some 3M tape and call it a day.

This would be the logical thing to do that's why I did this already and after putting the tape on it, it just stuck to the windows and they still moved...maybe if I double up on the tape to make it thicker. ....such problems...

Make sure your window molding is nice and clean inside. I used windex and a rag and cleaned it out real good. Then tape up the rain guards, slide them into place and crank the windows up and leave them up for a couple of days so they seat well.

Update..... EGR just called me back today and told me there guy just test fitted these on a brand new taco with no issues what so ever...They are pretty confident that I have a defective pair, needless to say they are shipping me replacements for my fronts. I didn't even order through the company , I ordered through autoanything but I decided to cut out the middle man and go straight to the manufacturer. I would just like to say EGR is a great company despite my problems I am having. They have top notch customer service,, A+++++++++...... Well anyways wish me luck with these when They get here....

I have only had them for 6 months or so
